Mrs. Boseman's voice, filled with anger, echoed throughout the room, "Now, take your illegitimate daughter and disappear from my sight! If you dare set foot in this mansion again, you'll face death!" As she spoke, her lips quivered, and tears streamed down her cheeks. "No, Mother-in-law, please! I am innocent!" cried the distraught woman, kneeling before Elsa Boseman. The sound of Taiwo's voice, laced with fury, only intensified her tears, "Go, you whore! Take that bastard and leave this place!" Dotun's taunting voice followed, "Guards! Escort them out!" The woman, overwhelmed, pleaded, "No, I'm innocent! Mother-in-law, don't send me away!" She hurried towards Elsa, desperate for mercy. As she was forcibly taken away by the guards, her child still sobbing, she glanced back at Daren, slumped on the couch with his head lowered, in silent despair. "My love, I swear I am innocent! Don't let them throw me out, Daren!" she cried with all her might, but he remained unresponsive. The storm raged outside, thunder rumbling and rain pelting relentlessly. Holding her one-year-old daughter close, her body shook with emotion. In that moment, she felt betrayed by the family she once held dear. Looking at her peaceful child, she made a vow, "They will pay," as lightning illuminated the dark sky.
