Nothing happens in the first 30 chapters. I'm not joking. Sure he gets his ability but the author spends so much time just galivanting and increasing word count that nothing happens. Tamed beast should be divided in to primary and secondary categories in primary the tamer and beast should get mutual benefits like increase physical or mental health or mana or quickening the process and Secondary beasts are those in whom the tamer imposes its will upon them to make them act as he wished
