She's Not For You

The story begins with "Falcon Ridge Series Book 1" by Anna Riker. Her encounters with the military Security unit have left her less than impressed; a lingering resentment follows her after a near-disastrous event where she had to save a soldier. This particular soldier seems to have a unique effect on her, drawing her in despite her initial reluctance. River Blake, the next in line to inherit his pack's leadership, joined the security unit as a means to please his father. His father believes River needs his destined mate to secure his position. Frustrated by this condition, River becomes determined to change her mind. He encounters Anna, clad in leather, who declares their future together impossible. Undeterred, River vows to prove to Anna that they are meant for each other. Michael Dorian finds himself entangled in a web of deceit. Initially accepting his role, he now feels a burning anger whenever Anna interacts with the soldier. The thought of losing her drives him to desperate measures. Michael is resolved to show Anna that she belongs solely to him, even if it requires crossing lines, committing treason, and potentially committing murder.
