In her vague memory of this man, what Su Fei remembered most, was that he would always talk in his own language. The only time he attempted using hers, it was a disaster. Su Fei herself wasn't interested in continuing to see him, so she persistently pretended not to understand whatever he said. The man was even more persistent though and in the end, they exchanged some brief words via messages. A chance for him she supposed, that machine translations were easily available. What she failed to understand right now was what was the peacoat doing here in place of her father. Was that man really trying to play it like this? Finally managing to have her come in this country all to, in the end, thrust a fiancé her way? Damn him!
there's nothing I can fault with the quality of the writing, and the story has drawn me in. the characters all seem to have their own unique thought process and personalities, which sometimes can be executed poorly. 16 chaps a week certainly isn't bad, and the post-apocalyptic world is slowly being flesh out, but as of now, I'm definitely interested. Anyone else reading this, I do recommend it because it really seems good so far.
The book is very below average if im being honest and there is one major flaw that makes it trash. Which for some reason is the mc he has no redeeming qualities and it’s like the author isn’t even sure of his own setting. The author states he actively chose to be a loner so you’d think he chose not to interact with ppl cuz it’s a hassle, wrong he didn’t chose to be a loner he had no choice he was an outcast someone who was picked on can’t stand up for himself and lacks self esteem if he actually chose to be a loner he’d be confident and would just find interactions boring. Additionally the mc is the definition of foolish despite being a loner who has all the time to think he never does so, he can’t even come to the simplest of conclusions or think rationally. At some point he doesn’t want to kill monsters to level up or survive he wanted to have a way to coexist or some bs, beta mentality I swr. If he actually chose solitude he wouldn’t let insults phase him or even care but it’s like he’s about to cry every time he’s insulted. The fact he hasn’t approached to speak to anyone during the entire situation and not once has he used that time to think of the future or analyze his current situation to maximize survival knowing that the kingdom is possibly hostile to him. The dudes really pathetic is all Ill say and he’s not even interesting or have a sense of humor it’s just sad reading this I’d honestly prefer his bully be the mc at least he has basic survival skills.
seemed interesting, but after he left for the flame and got it, it felt very confusing as if the story was going in one direction and then just immediately went in an entirely different direction that the first couple of chapters
