Hanna Ortiz, a young woman enjoying her freedom, was unexpectedly bound by a solemn vow she made to her mother as she lay on her deathbed. The commitment required her to marry a man she barely knew, all in the name of fulfilling a mysterious agreement that eluded even her understanding. Life appeared normal until her fiancé mysteriously disappeared, leaving his father to step into his shoes. Despite her heart's desire to retreat, the stakes were too high, and there was someone dear to her whose life hung in the balance. With no alternative, Hanna reluctantly agreed to marry Morgan, hoping against hope that her true love, David, would return. However, despite her youth, Morgan found her unappealing due to a personal promise that forbade marriage. He, along with his entire family, were aware of the rare and devastating illness that plagued Hanna's family, which had the potential to deform its carriers. The mere thought of being with her was unbearable for them, even before meeting her, they had already rejected her based on her perceived appearance. Upon realizing Morgan's revulsion, Hanna's anger and distance towards him grew, fueling his belief that she too was diseased, turning her into a feared and disfigured bride. Now, trapped in a marriage marred by rejection, she was viewed as a wife unwanted by her husband, a figure seen as a gold-digger with ulterior motives. But beneath the surface, Hanna held aspirations far beyond material wealth, dreams that remained hidden in the midst of her challenging circumstances.

Please update author. Am on the edge of my seats. And a question author, I hope Azazel won't be hurt in the end when Stephano and Rose are together? I wouldn't want that. Azazel is a sweetheart and doesn't deserve not to happy in the end.
