Lucia I love your books planning to start this one too but before i start,is it like those other books after the husband mistreat her and choose the mistress over her and then she gets back with him or the she will find a more deserving man somewhere somehow?
while the premise of the story is interesting, the overall story seems to be almost a wish fulfilment.the author did almost no research on any country mentioned. they just took their experience in china, put a USA lens on it and calling it a day. same for the Russian spies with American names was also an odd choice since the seemed to be the only protagonist that has appeared. I would give more details but I don't want to spoil it. read the free chapters and judge for yourself but I wouldn't recommend this.
at i was exited about a nonhuman MC. I was expecting a python turning into dragon story, but its just a log about the MC killing and eating anything on sight, and its uncomfortable to be honest, 20 chapters in and he is already eating humans, yes HUMANS although he is a snake now how is this different than a cannibal freak , and ofcourse they were from USA at this point i was already pretty sick of reading it but i forced myself to read until ch 39 AND guess what he met his former subordinates who were in fact responsible for his murder, is it was a murder his brother planned all this MC dosen't know about the brother part, MC ofcourse eat them all saying they are exp, overall this story somehow disgusts me and makes me uncomfortable. hopefully its not selected and waste the precious spot of other better books on the shelf.
I don't know. This novel is average at best. Like, seriously, this novel has so many damn plot holes, it's unbearable. Sometimes the translators even put wrong words in certain spots. This book is seriously average at best but I've reached a point where if the author can spell, It's a book I can read. Original novels on this website have literally changed my worldly view. It's so damn sad. Would I recommend this novel? Hell no. Only read this if you have reached the level of clinical depression I have. Seriously, I mentioned it already but I need to say it again, Original novels have changed every single thing I thought about novels. Martial God Asura and Against the gods suddenly seems like a massive case of pure gold bars at this point.
Addicting to read. From the novels I've read prior, the world setting gives it a fresh take, on an old story. The MC development is great. It even attempts to make the side characters more interesting. The only knock for that is the love interest, seems forced and out of place imo. Which is normal it's a martial arts novel, I wouldn't expect Romeo and Juliet esque writing I suppose. The fight scenes aren't overly drawn out, which has been a pet peeve for me in other novels, I blame DBZ for this. I don't know what more to say, I just felt it deserves 5 stars. Give it a read, if after 20 chapters you aren't hooked...
i will not give a detailed review , i will only tell what i like the most about this novel i like the most about the novel is he does not have a solitude persona and have friends like literally friends with equal standing cause in most eastern novel mc has friends but they seem like little subordinate to mc
this novel is amazing overall it has an amazing storyline with great characters to go along with it and the way it plays out makes you wanna know what will happen next in total I suggest you read this.
