Lucinda Jones, a young woman, finds herself working at a nightclub to alleviate the financial burden left by her father's untimely death. She never expected to be shouldering such responsibility so early in life, as she had dreams of attending college. Now, all alone without any family support, Lucinda must navigate the world on her own. One of her frequent patrons, Tyler Ackerman, surprises her by offering to settle her father's debts in return for her hand in marriage. Intrigued and perhaps seeking stability, Lucinda agrees to a three-year contract with Tyler. As the relationship progresses, Tyler discovers genuine affection for Lucinda and endeavors to win her heart beyond the initial arrangement. Caught between the practicality of the contract and the emotional connection forming between them, the question arises: Will Lucinda let love blossom and potentially stay with Tyler beyond the agreed terms, or will she choose to end the arrangement once the contract concludes?
