**Michael's cold declaration shook me to my core, "Anna, I want a divorce. Our marriage isn't working, and it hasn't been for a while. We're both unhappy. It's time to end this." His words felt like a slap, leaving a chill down my spine.** "You're a coward," I spat, tossing the divorce papers back at him. "You want to leave? Fine, but don't dare blame me. You're the one who tore us apart, Michael. Your lies have ruined our marriage." The man I once adored, who vowed to stand by me through thick and thin, was now a stranger. All the sacrifices I made for him seemed meaningless in the face of this betrayal. --- Years of grappling with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) and constant pressure from my mother-in-law over our childlessness took its toll. But against all odds, a glimmer of hope appeared when my doctor gave me hope for a pregnancy. Excitedly, I rushed home to share the news with my husband of five years, only to discover the devastating truth: he had betrayed me with another woman, now expecting his child. Heartbroken and lost, I found solace in an unlikely place – my brother-in-law, Xavier. Offering a lifeline, he suggested marriage as a chance at healing. But just as I started to rebuild, Michael's return knocked on my door, threatening to reopen old wounds. **Would I summon the courage to embrace a new beginning, or would I succumb to the past that still held me in its grasp?**

I stopped reading, I think the beginning is very good and engaging, but she keeps changing the way she calls the protagonist all the time and that simply makes it difficult to read. I don't know if it's because of the translation or because of the writer, but that made it that I would be discouraged
