Aaron's eyes blazed with intensity as he asked, "Is this just a game to you?" He struggled to rein in his wolf, but I remained surprisingly unfazed. "You decide," I replied, nonchalantly smacking my lips, pretending not to be affected by his anger. "You're making things complicated," he growled, fists clenching. Just as he seemed ready to leave, I placed my palm on his chest, our gazes locking. I saw a growing hunger in his eyes. "You have every female at your disposal, yet you chase after me despite knowing I don't return your feelings," I traced my finger from his nose to his lips, softly caressing them. "Are you trying to conquer a challenge, or is it because I'm off-limits – my brother's mate, perhaps?" His body responded to my touch, and I yearned for more.
