left this comment on the final chapter but thought i should leave it here as well, overall was quite fun and an interesting take on cultivation, i still enjoyed the earlier sections especially since I enjoy IET novels in general, but I found myself not really caring towards the end, the length of the time skips was getting out of hand and I wasn't finding myself connected to the characters as much anymore, overall definitely not among IET's better works, but i would consider this an experiment and hopes it'll give him opportunities to write better novels in the future. Can only hope his next will be more like Desolate Era or Lord Xue Ying ;-;
You just described my whole life in a single para😶... I, too want to do this and infact I tried to learn Japanese but it was too hard and very time consuming which I really lack... But I do hope if in the future, if I have time, even if I do not watch anime at some point, I would love to learn this language... Specially Japanese, this one's just a notch above those other two...
