The ending wasn’t clear like what happened to shantal and the witch? Also Darren has anger issues, he behaves like a toddler having a tantrum everytime he’s upset and instead of keeping search of Leila or strategize, he just went to punch trees. The pronouns are usually interchanged.
I've been obsessed with this story. it was original and not typical story. loved the characters and in depth writing. highly recommend. one of my favorite books
