Xu Jiangtong was a sculptor and young professor in the School of Art. He was also a setter in his alma mater's volleyball team. Born with a mix of Caucasian and Chinese blood, he was often mistaken as a good-looking foreigner. One day in the school cafeteria, he accidentally overheard his prospective student slandering him, even before the course began…

The student, Tao Xihong, turned around and looked at him, before continuing to slander the course. He didn’t know Xu Jiangtong understood Chinese. As the top Logistics sophomore as well as the ace player in the university volleyball team, he was simply furious about having to waste his precious time taking some ‘stupid’ Art History course just to clear credits. Little did he know that these careless, lackadaisical words of his, had already caused him to become the target of his professor's attention, even before the course began…

And thus began the story of a beautiful, black-bellied lecturer, and his daring, dog-like student.
