Akihito was nervous. He didn't know how the crime lord would react to his version of a honeymoon gift. It was Fei Long's joke but Akihito thought it was a wonderful idea, only that he wasn't so sure now. Asami went completely silent and hasn't moved for a while now. Akihito's mind raced a thousand miles an hour thinking of a way to break this awkward silence when he heard that baritone voice dripping with dominance and dark promises.
Finally, after washing out the shampoo and putting in a bit of conditioner, I rinsed off one last time and turned the water off. After five minutes of hearing the constant hiss of the showerhead, the room was eerily still and quiet. I grabbed the towel and hastily dried off, squeezing any excess water out of my hair. I changed back into the clothes I had come in, ignoring the blood that was stained on them, and looked for a brush. I found a small one in the very back of one of the drawers, and I could tell it hadn't been used in a while. I dusted it off, and, glancing in the mirror, began to brush through my wet hair with long strokes. It was a dark brownish-bronze when it was wet, and it stuck to my skin as I brushed. Steam swirled around me in rivers, and with my foot I kicked the door open so the bathroom could air out.

i like the power system i like the main character and his powers. the novel is quite good besides the interactions in the Terrace family and the reason the head send the mc to his death, it's abysmally bad like come on the head of the family sent the mc to his death because he felt threatened by him by the way his talent is the lowest it can be E-rank, and supposedly the mc's mother and uncle love him a lot, but i don't see it, the mother she is she doesn't go to save him despite being really strong sometimes she hates the mc's father because he sent him to his death and most of the time she doesn't care about it.i don't know what to say anymore, i tried to read it i really did but every time the interactions happen I'm turned off like it's so inconsistent like how could you claim to love your son/nephew and do shit about him.bye
Unlike many novels in this genre, the MC has a realistic personality that doesn't inexplicably shift as he gets stronger. I highly recommend this book!
