Dimension's Door

This story suffers from the same problem a lot of bad beast taming novels suffer from... the MC gets OP too quickly, its only chapter 20 and this motherfucker has 800 in all his stats, and i not even get me started with the snake, first of all you NEVER associate a pet with a girlfriend... its fucking disgusting, second the snake also gets super strong super fast, she cant turn into a 10 meters tall snake (tall not long) and the MC didn't even do the "generical noob tournament" yet.As a rule of thumb i can't trust authors that explicitly throw up high numbers (1000+) in the beginning of a novel, because they get lost in the power scale in the middle and throw the novel in the trash at the end.
