Thank you author not making Max into an abusive aszhole. This is how you write an arrogant male lead and keep him respectful but rough and sexy at the same time. The ML doesn’t have to abuse the FL for him to be hot and desirable. As a male pov I’m telling you the author is doing an amazing job.
