This story has an excellent concept and is built from the ground up.       Our main character grows up as a 'dull' a lower caste that has no worth, unless an ability is awakened to make their lives have meaning.     When the creatures from outside the vail border come his mother is brutally killed before him.       #ptsd for the first 90 chapters as our MC struggles with crippling flashbacks that actually becomes part of his power.     By that time (90)'s he seems to have dealt with part of it but has large amounts of new trauma heaped on to reinforce it.By chapter 100 he'll lose any remaining family, and then move out into the world I suppose.    His finally coming to terms with his condition was ok but was too long and painfully drawn out for my taste.     If you can make it through the emotional   rollercoaster, there are very descriptive battle scenes; choreographed to the punch and kick.    I like the story but didn't like the story development.

The novel was a solid 9/10, but the translator’s work made it a perfect 10/10.

A thrilling novel full of mystery. I've read the first two chapters, and I'm already eager for more. While the descriptions are somewhat weak, the strong dialogues and smooth flow of events more than make up for it.
