Shameless rating from author but sue me!! This review contains some spoilers, but I hope it’ll help your reading experience! This book is a historical fantasy romance, it takes place in medieval times, and it is based off of the legendary tale of King Arthur! The book also contains Greek mythology, Hinduism, and other mixes of cultures/mythology/religion—this book has Gods/Goddesses, magical/fantasy elements, and demi-god/nisf daw elements. To inform you further, nisf daw are half human, half god beings chosen by the Gods as their “successors” (more is revealed in the book so I won’t spoil to much). There will be a lot of Arabic and Greek language intertwined within the book :)! Please also note, this is a historical romance story, but the romance IS a slow burn, as the ML and MC go through different trials together and fall in love!! This is also an action based story, so there is minor gore such a blood etc, however it is pretty tamed, as this is a action/adventure story for all ages! There is also a warning of minor cursing (two of my characters especially LOL) as well, so if that isn’t your thing, that’s so okay, but I wanted to give a warning! If you desire a well-written novel with a creative premise, fun characters, action-packed scenes, and tooth-rooting romance, then please, indulge in Bum To Lady! Thank you so much ☺️!
this story is so well written. Each character is complex and well developed. Even more importantly, they are funny. The MC is an excellent mix of sass and delightful innocence. The ML does a good job at towing the line between obsessive devotion, and respectful care. So far, there hasn't really been any of the toxic pitfalls that you usually see in this kind of trope.Overall: 10/10 a good read
I really appreciate such mysterious stories in which MC has some extraordinary mental excellence yet his character is good towards others! Such MCs are my favourite type. Great work 👍
