Clearly an underestimate epic work. Don't be put off by the beard story and the supposedly 'dense' MC. It is actually a fun MC and a hidden gem that you won't find elsewhere. And yes, the Harem element is strong here and don't be too quick to judge the cultivation system because it makes alot of sense after you've read it.
In short this is a very good....no amazing....no the best novel I have read in a long time It's got everything you could ever ask for. So you should read this book. Also it's got dragons which are the best mythical being there is. So what's not to like.
I like urban harem story with mc having super power and this novel has got exactly the thing I like and also the female characters are unique especially that agent girl. updates are slow but I hope that the story continues and not dropped.
