Start reading the 1st five chapters and I got hooked already. Riona is a strong funny girl & Matthew is an arrogant icy billionaire. Then there's this Victor, a mysterious alpha king. I love the storyline so far. Love how the scenes from the medieval era are connected to the scenes from the present.
It's an alternate historical work which gives the vibes of "Pirates of the Caribbean". Tbh, it's been a while since I last read anything related to the Roman Empire and Byzantium. The story is packed with action and adventure. I'll seriously recommend this book to the history lovers. Good work author!!
Before chapter 918, it's 4/5 overall. After 918+ some random started uploading MTL chapters. Qidian, dares to even charge money for that? What's wrong with them...
