The first five chapters are worth reading alone. It's also well written, funny, and kind of depressing as well. Author, please keep writing. I need this in my life lol
If you read this for its tags, prepare to get roasted. This book is a parody of web novel cliches, and I've been laughing as much as I'm questioning my taste in books. The mc is intelligent at the start for once, which is nice as well. However... he also makes poor decisions imo. At least they're thought out. We'll see who's right as the story progresses
I came from Nerve Network hoping for another wild action novel with a smart mc. I was let down at first. Nightmare is a parody with psychological elements and minimum action. It isn't the same genre.
I find it hilarious, but it took awhile to get into because I wanted something else. However, once I came to terms that it wasn't like NN I found it extremely engaging in ways I haven't found on WN. If you're looking for action, read NN. But give this one a shot if you're willing to enjoy a comedy.
It starts slow, but that's fine because it's hilarious and the author is grilling cliches like an op cultivator wipes out offencers. After reading 21 chapters, I'm hooked and checking WN to see if a new chapter is posted.
The harem cliches are gold. I'm dying every few chapters for different reasons. Its also not a simple level up book. The mc doesn't need magic to win against op people and I love that. Mass release... please...
I have yet to read it, but I already want to thank author for the synapsis. The toxicity of the [mindsets] is really disgusting at times, it makes people look like some beasts. Outdated ways of thinking that silently harm people while claiming all credit for good things. I know a lot of them from all the novels I read, and I hated them to the point of writing a novel myself. Thank you for doing it for me
