She squats down to check Evan's pulse from his wrist and bring her nose close to Evan's opened mouth to take a sniff. Her eyes turned cold.

I dislike the ML as he mistreats the FL. I kinda understand that the FL used to be unruly but she has changed. And I feel like the FL might have been framed. She might not had purposely hit the girlfriend of the ML with a car. It's a pity that the ML is not the second brother.
