I remember when I first read it on impulse, it was a couple of days before chapter 3 came out. Then I found out that it was a quarterly manga T.T
Art is great. Characters are great (Though I was a bit adverse to Kusakabe's change in the first three chapters, it was gradual enough and ch4 was excellent in that area.). Occassional humour is great...
simply awesome...at least I think so. perhaps my affection towards maths and sciences contributes a great deal.
EDIT: so it's now mid 2021. I stopped following this series at the end of 2014 when I began med school, I think. Just couldn't bare the 4/year release schedule, it was torturous for a series that was legit one of my favourite manga out there.
Now 7 years later I can come back and spent hours today re-reading and finally finishing it and I can say:
This series is STILL AWESOME!
It's beautiful, it's sweet, it's cute, it's deep, it makes you ache.
Really throughout reading it there was oftena slight achey feeling, but there were also laughs and so many saccharine moments and pages and plotlines.
I disagree with someone in another review who said ending was rushed, it felt fine to me, and the mangaka said in 5th volume omake that she knew how she wanted to end it from the beginning.
It's simply so so so good. And I 100% want to follow everything she writes as a result and buy the physical copies one day to support her.
I do wish that 2 characters in particular had one last conversation
Big Big thanks to Vexed Scans and those who worked alongside them for translating this series for the wider world!
EDIT 2: Also have to point out because I saw a review say otherwise, the art is extremely good. Her drawings of girls is incredibly cute, with the main characters looking distinctive and each of them being cute af. AND the designs of the outfits is...Wow. This mangaka deserves a lot of work.
It's cute. The love is sincere and a bit shallow, but shojo love doesn't have to be complicated. I like that once in a while. I enjoyed reading it so far 🙂
I'd recommend it for anyone looking for a light read.
the plot summary somehow reminds me of mahou sensei negima excluding all the magic that is, but this manga seems to be interesting. Cant wait to read it in the future and give my opinion on it
the setting and context reminds me very much of GTO. The plot about a girl getting raped/abused/blahblah, giving them the excuse to be a bitch to everyone is nothing new and i've seen it many times before, characters seem ok-ish so far, but i cant fairly criticize any of this seeing as theres only been 2 chapters scanalated. I do like the main character though and i'm interested to see where it goes.
I like this manga its different from the other manga i read but the releases take soo looong that i wouldnt recommend this manga just because youll probably never get to read the end
this manga is awesome.
i just download it randomly and found it so great.
but the chapter is to little.
i need more faster.
i really love the smart girl can't wait any romance with her
This one is unexpectedly good. Just 2 chapter release and the story is plenty interesting though the release between chapter is rather long wait.
The main character is interesting and the girls around him are also interesting and if you think the story would into some fanservice manga. It didn't go their. Even though their is no echi in the genre from what I read the description I thought it would be your young school teacher with bunch of fan service stuff but it doesn't.
Quite fun and wishing for more or rather..... bi-monthly or is it quarter yearly release is rather long.
it's promising so far
hopefully it won't become one of those cliche student-teacher romances if it does it will probably turn sour
the main character is quite likeable he isn't those 'boys' in the shounen manga you see everyday
Honestly, I picked this one up on a whim with no expectations, and perhaps the result was because of that, but I was completely satisfied. Outside of novels like Odile, mathematician protagonists are rare, and this one has a bold personality with a lot of opportunity for development. Admittedly the first chapter does succumb to a few cliches, which is typically a warning sign that we may not get a satisfactory endgame, but I'm willing to take the chance on this one.
The main character is likeable.
I can't wait to see more chapters
