    Ugh this ending seems so contorted to me. Seems like author wants to have a bittesweet ending just for the sake of having a bittersweet ending. He's been planning this shit since the kiku arc. The whole point of that arc was to show kiku and mahiru dying so kou and nazuna will be forced to break up. Fuck you kiku

    I kept waiting for the reveal that they all treat him as the leader sarcastically, that in reality they all make fun of him behind his back, that his forced "popular kid" act is not fooling anyone but himself

    But no? This manga is GENUINELY deep inside its own ass. The MC is an obnoxious self-centered dipshit and everyone around him glazes him 24/7, even the neet Otaku who hated him suddenly got his switch flipped and became another glazzer after the MC fucking smashed his way inside his room. None of the characters are real people, the author grabbed a bunch of romcom tropes and slapped a label on the forehead of each of these empty vessels

    What exactly is the point of this manga? Just some way for the author to self insert and suck his own dick every chapter?
