    It befuddles me that people can despise a manga about a guy just living life that is truly at his own pace. He just knows what he wants, and ignores everything else.

    Isnt that the kind of life that everyone strives for? Doing what you want, having fun whenever you want, and having as little as possible interupt and disturb your peace.

    I like it. He may reiterate the same thing over and over again, but that is just a common over-exposition trait that most authors kinda fall into doing.
