    Psychological aspect in this sports manga is so pronounced here to a degree I have never seen before, maybe same as "The Boxer". It's like the manga is not about baseball at all, it's just a tool for the author to tell a tale of a prodigy who's bound to lose no matter what. Not in baseball mind you, but in everything else. His unchallenged ability is causing him to break down but he also cannot afford to let baseball go. He will have to break and then be remade whole again, but how will he end up is the question I'm so fervently trying to get an answer for. It's just a spectacular manga, a gem that you rarely see nowadays among the Blue Locks of the sports Manga.
