I really like these two, they're a great father and daughter combo who really care for each other and have good chemistry. There is also some great emotional scenes between the two. Hasn't been any romance yet which I'm okay with. She's 7 anyway as of chapter 37 so that would be weird.

My only gripe so far is that the chronology is sometimes a bit wack: occasionally it'll flashback to an event that occured earlier between previous chapters in an awkward way.

As another guy mentioned, I was really liking the story until it was mentioned that the FL was a transmigrator, and that this was a world inside a novel. I was hoping that to not be the case. The story could have done well without her being a transmigrator, a slightly dumber fl with the same personality would have rocked too. But I guess her being an older person on the inside justifies her fetish for muscles... maybe.

Though unlike other otome isekai, our FL isn't (or wasn't) a part of the main plotline. She misses her previous family and the convenience that technology brought in her previous life. She wasn't all that happy that she was brought to this world without her consent... something that I have rarely seen happening in these type of manhwa (maybe because I haven't read much of them)

Aside from all that, it has been a fun, wholesome, and unique read so far. The cast is lovable and main characters develop over time. The master of the north aka Duke Voreoti regrets that he didn't pay attention to his cousin when he should have, and also realises that raising a child in a such a competitive and ruthless social milieu isn't a laidback task. The FL also becomes more emotionally stable when she realises that she isn't unwanted anymore.

As someone who has a shitty father, and projects that in all my family trope readings with a good father, it makes me uncomfortable that we're sexualizing the father in the perspective of the supposed daughter, you know?

Like please stop staring at his chest and with those weird remarks.I'd prefer that in the reader's gaze that I can choose to ignore, or see in a different, more wholesome light, "oh, he's so cool! What a lucky daughter! He's already doting and can beat others up for her, the ML has to be on par or more cuz we're willing to be single if we're already happy."

Author is also Islamaphobic, but every author is fcked up one or another. And that's not the one I'm comfortable with, unfortunately. I can separate the author from the works if it's that good. So, I'mma pass on this one, yall enjoy. I'm making this note for my future self on why I dropped it.

    Why the f**k must

the child be a transmigrator??? Like seriously, can’t we for once have a wholesome relationship between a father and an actual daughter child.

-sigh- It is a nice read though. Just some maniacs bonding and all that.
Wholsome maniacs with a relationship that I wish more comics would pursue.

This is so fun to read, I love how the fl isnt very docile and shy like other father/daughter historical manhwas I’ve read. She’s very blunt and expressive which is a nice contrast to the aloof father.

Love a good dad & daughter story. In this case they're both fucking psychopaths, which makes for a very funny read (as long as you find these interactions funny). Looking forward to more of their interactions, and excited to see how the step-mum fits in when she arrives.
