The political intrigue is quite interesting and the art style is impeccable and very expressive at times.
However, the yakuza stuff has a bit too much posturing and empty threats imo. Sometimes it's really serious and sometimes it feels like they're playing a game of gangsters.

Seraph of the End is a beautiful story.
I'm here from chapter 12 on, and the beginning alone is worth reading a couple of chapters.
Despite its look, it's a pretty mature story, struggling especially with the darker parts of humanity and human desire.
The art is consistent and on the higher tier of manga art. Some panels and double pages are so beautiful, that they will leave a lasting impression.
All in all, just jump right in and check it out.
Its not only a super recommend, but we're getting towards the last quarter of the story. And the depth and intrigue are worth reading it right now.
8.5/10 am very excited for the ending.

I like it so far, even if the premise is hella absurd haha. I also like that even with MATHS they still lost the first war due to unpredictable factors (that everyone reading saw coming lol)
