Well, the reincarnation thing explains why she's able to rewrite taxcodes and such, how she knows how to make chocolate, introducing the banking system etc.
Without those, she'd be just another noble.
Sure, they could've gone with a more "she's just well educated" route and not have a reincarnation, but the story would have to forego all the new elements she's introducing to the world.

Yeah the deaths feel super underwhelming. The whole concept is great, yet it moved too fast for the characters to really develop. If you were to only look at the overall plot of the story, it is absolutely superb. The foreshadowing is a slight bit too obvious, but at that point I am kinda nitpicking a bit.

I absolutely adore the portrayal of gods in this manga. It truly portrays higher existences that arent quite gods, but to a human would look like one, so perfectly. All the supernatural shit is quite reasonable, and the explanations were satisfying.

Then the major plot twist of the true form (ego? existence? I cant quite describe it) of the gods to be that with intelligence and demenour of a human really sells it.
