hi.. anybody know how to contact the author?
An entertaining read, not at the level that you need to turn your brain off to enjoy but not anything thought provoking either. It doesn't question anything nor tries to make some sort of statement.
it is exactly what it says on the tin/ the synopsis and doesn't really require an in depth review. You've encountered such works plenty before and this is no different.
Underestimated young person winning against the odds. He's so pretty and badass.
The story isn't deep, it's not original or thought provoking. It's not especially dark or gory.
Satisfying themes about family and friendship and justice for the weak. Nice art and action scenes
From just the title and first chapter we all know where we are: some super human fighter is introduced to normal society and every situation they encounter can be solved directly with violence.
Now that we know what we're dealing with, this is quite good for the genre. Good art, strong fight scenes, likable characters, and not too many bullshit villains popping out of nowhere.
If you're looking for something deeper, this is not the manhwa for you, but the same way I wouldn't rate a pop song low for being a bad metal song, I'm only rating this manhwa against others in the same genre. This is the generic bubblegum pop of the manhwa world, and it does a great job at it.
Are/were you bullied in school?
Have you not yet dealt with these emotional conflicts/traumata in a healthy manner?
Do you instead often day dream about being a perfect, flawless killing machine who punishes the bullies, never gets hurt and gets all the girls?
If you answered „Yes“ to these questions, this manhwa is for you.
If, instead, you answered „No“, this manhwa will not give you anything. Zero depth, zero character development, zero (real) focus on side characters, zero suspense (since the MC always wins easily, barely even with a scratch) and zero originality.
Just your run-of-the-mill revenge porn from Korea. And it‘s not even good revenge porn. I recommend „Weak Hero“ and „Viral Hit“, if you‘re into that genre. They aren‘t the most clever storys either, but they are a million times better in the character and suspense department.
honestly the concepts of this wouldn’t go far but there are better ways this could have been handle then how it was. the story only moves if his sister is getting beat up. which is annoying in its own right. the other characters barely have any substance besides “rich” and or “gangster”. No one gets development not even the mc himself. there’s no end goal to anticipate for which only adds to the blandness of the manhwa. the most annoying thing is the relationship between him in his sister besides it being down right weird even for sister con standards. there relationship makes no sense. they haven’t seen each other in 10 years, so going off of that they are basically strangers. it really could have been a plot moment for them to get closer. along with that i understand he cares about his sister but as proven he can’t always be there so why wouldn’t you teach your sister how to fight especially since she’s constantly wining about making trouble for people. it’s annoying everyone is so annoying and the fight are subpar there is nothing to look forward to. but if you like these trashy fights with good art where the mc is op then go off cuz that’s all you’ll get out of it
