One of my favorite little details about this story is about the original Pia gets exiled for getting rid of the cookies and Rufus's over the top reaction. This leads to my theory that the original Pia threw out the cookies because she realized they were brainwashing drugs and Rufus's over reaction (that new Pia even comments on) were a result of the brainwashing cookies and could either be the withdraw from taking them away or their standard effect. Fantastic writing.
