Who is this blonde guy supposed to represent in this story?  I get the like "overconfident jackass" type of character, but this guy is pure, nonstop, endlessly delusional, and at some points straight evil.  These characters get exhausting in these series because you don't even understand their motivation, you can't, because it is so fucking stupid that if you understand it you are stupid as well, or evil.  You could have just had him getting eaten by a monster (yet again due to his overconfidence) and then do away with this pointless side storyline.

Isn't the story line of a party working together to conquer a dungeon already interesting enough?  We have plenty of floors to go, no limit on how floors are setup or what the enemies look like, nothing stopping interesting new dungeon-dweller type people from popping up, but we keep going back to this useless sack of shit just for some mediocre revenge storyline that is founded in complete delusional stupidity.
