At chapter 7, I got questions.
The idea was interesting, but at chapter 7, the consistency is already missing.
Early arc was where things got emotional and I actually felt something was amazing. Later arcs are just meh.
It's your typical LitRPG. The start is just like a game; it's more or less incremental, and then it builds up for a war ark, which the author constantly foreshadows. The author is extremely petty and dumb with the development; his comic relief is basically saying how pretty female characters are and beating whatever characters. He's especially abusive to the honey badger for no reason.
Now why is it so bad? Well, characters are added so fast that it doesn't give us time to sympathise with any; the war ark is the poorest written work I've ever read. Basically
This one is great, it starts a bit weirdly but the MC creates his cohort or family and it goes to places that I don't want to spoil but it's great, it has some great moments and even some food for thought.
The MC's ok, not great but there is a big cast of secondary charts that will grow on you and the author doesn't pull his punches and takes things seriously.
Just be warned that this story is about monsters, but not devious, evil monsters but ones with awareness, humanized monsters if you will and humans being humans, so if you're ok with rooting for monsters, it's for you.
Story is great, chars are good, pace is great at times and a bit slow at times, art is pretty good too.
Overall, highly recommended, it's among the top manhuas out there, which is not much but it's probably in the top 10 imo, and those are all good.
I am always happy to find a manhua with a great storyline, and cast of characters, but this main character is carrying this series on his back (or limbs). The emotion you feel in this is something else, but the action is fire to. After bingeing this I can say that this manhua and protagonist deserves notice.
Good to read if you want MC to be non-human. Expect many fight scenes and emotional moments from the characters.
