There's lots of manga out there that have immortal main characters and have a start that promises to explore the impact that has on the human psyche. This manga also promises that, but like all the others I've read so far it disappoints. This last chapter(43) really screwed the pooch for me. No, he's not human. He's immortal. He's completely removed from the cycle of life. All the people that he meets will age around him and die off one by one. He will witness as they turn to dust. Humans are social creatures. We live because of our relationships with people, and that's why completely isolating a human is literal torture. No human mind can resist decades of isolation with no consequences, let alone centuries or even millenia. This ability to be alone is what makes him inhuman.
