Reads more like a shojo romance manga than a shounen romance.Very good overall, even with the rushed ending. The first chapters are a bit slower.
The artwork is nothing to write home about, it's quite amateurish for the most part but can be detailed during close-up shots. One aspect about the art that stuck out to me was how lanky the characters can appear, especially their fingers.
There's not much of a story for the reader to enjoy. Character motivations are practically nonexistent and the two lead characters went into a relationship without the reader knowing why the two are even interested in each other.
I gave "You and I Are Polar Opposites" a chance, even though I felt my enjoyment waning even within the first seventy pages. I managed to reach chapter 5 and decided not to venture further. This is a manga with not much substance. Firstly, the ML is completely uninteresting and detached from all relatability to the reader. He just kinda goes along with whatever. the FL either looks like a gremlin or like Snorlax. In fact, I'm sure that was probably intentional, as the FL's face distorts into what looks uncannily similar to a Golbat on page 84. The supporting cast are one-dimensional. Pass on this one.
I like the story, if you just want to read something cute, read this, my only compleint is the character designs, epsecially femc, idk why but her design makes me feel uncomfortable

I tried to find that mega-hit one-shot that started it all. But seemed like there was no scanlation. Nevertheless, we get a whole serialisation: from the first to the latest chapters all available on Mangaplus.
Aw, these two kids are so cuteee and honest. Their friends are so supportive. I'm so in love with this manga; even though I'm just at chapter 2, I have to comment here. So if anyone have doubt about taking this up, you stop and you start reading immediately, please!

Edit: I caught up to the most recent chapter. Seriously, all good and golden! And this is the first I've seen (or not, literally) the magnitude of a cheek kiss in shoujo that I blurted out myself: "Cheek kiss, that's the best kiss!" Banzai, cheek kiss, banzai.
