It wasn’t too bad but then they added the kid and the plot kinda got lost , the mask bit is dragging on too. Dropped.
By chapter 100, this series has much more text about the skills he gains then actual story or dialogue combined, and those skills are useless to know because they are going to be replaced in 5 chapters.
The plot is too chaotic and the pacing is horrible.
A minor gripe that grates my pickles is the MC keeps complaining about his brother being a "genius" compared to us normies, while he is obviously similarly if not more gifted.
It isn't unreadable, but better look for something else.
As a few person that started thisbecause of the LN, I'm highly disappointed. From the start, it was missing valuable and interesting information and it only got worse from there. The most recent chapters are so bad that I want someone else to adapt instead.

This is slow right off the bat, people compare it to Solo Leveling.....it does not mean this is horrible. The only thing the protagonist has in common with Solo Leveling's MC is one power, but he has more in his arsenal. This male lead deserves more praise (especially the art). The drawing to me has a Gantz feel at times. Despite being human he has battled some pretty powerful entities. He has earned my respect with what he is doing and I recommend checking him out.

Been reading this for 120+ chapters now and it's so boring, I'm gonna drop this
this story pisses me off. and it pisses me off that people like it so much (although i think they should be allowed to think that). the first chapter was confusing. it didnt explain much, mc has a twin brother who disappeared. 5(?) years later his watch is discovered, mc listens to his brothers story about how he left to find a cure for their sick mom and died in the process because everyone he loved backstabbed him. mc gets mad, tells the army hes not coming back and somehow a portal appears?? and now theyre in a tower i think? or maybe this is before the tower?? mc has to do better than every person before him or he cant go up the tower (which doesnt make sense btw, at some point there will be almost no one making it into the tower if thats how it works). anyway he makes it in and he has decided hes gonna get revenge for his brother, and i spent the next... 100? 150 chapters?? looking for answers to what the FUCK that portal was, where he came from (was it earth or not??) where the other people in rhe tower are from (apparently some people are also from in the tower?? but it doesn't make sense??). idk man this storyy. i really really tried hard to like it but i seriously cant. it doesnt ever explain the most basic of questions. the art is good but also it kinda looks rushed and lazy sometimes, and its not good enough (imo) for it to make up for this infuriating storyline. im sorry for ranting, if you like this story that's fine and good for you, im just extra pissed off today and every time i hear people mention this manhwa i think about all the reasons i hated it
