    Very minor nitpick, but I don’t enjoy how they already reinforced the barrier so quickly and now the only thing binding them together is a marriage paper with a fraudulent amendment. That makes it feel… scam-y.

    Nine is still far too servile and one note for my tastes as a romantic lead. All Nine has is his dedication to Melissa, there is no other component to his personality. Yuri has the more interesting character and the aspect of their having a relationship breaking the story Yuri is trapped in is compelling (admittedly, so too would a friendship route where Yuri's worth is not tied up in a coupling, but I would only really buy that development if Melissa was similarly uncoupled at the series's end).

    Oh well, different tastes I guess.
