The art is nice, and the story isn't completely irredeemable at this point... well, it might be, because the main character's logic was already once broken in a major way to force him and his childhood friend apart with very poor justification.
So let me get this straight: despite knowing your best friend since childhood better than anyone, you just assume she'll be better off with the party that tried to kill her best friend (you)? Are you table-flipping serious? Do you secretly hate her more than the party that tried to kill you?
And we're only 5 chapters in.
Also, why does the guild not recognize him? He's part of a famous party and still a decent rank, and going duo with an unregistered person raises not one question?
It's cool the MC would rather move on than get revenge... but as pointed out above, that was done so poorly.
The world seems somewhat interesting... I'm reaching here. The artist really sold it for me, and I want to see the characters more because they look interesting and are well drawn.
Can't say I expect consistent characterization or plot in the future so... probably worth seeing for the art but I question whether the story will kill that at some point.
Let's get the story part out of the way first -- having skimmed the WN chapters, this is really not going to break any new ground beyond the boundaries of already done-to-death paths of harem or kicked-out-of-the-party isekai.
That said, @karikariume basically singlehandedly makes this thing readable with his layouts and art. He's got that Oh! Great knack for making generic plot look cool and dynamic and I'm rating this high as I am just for his work. If anybody in the Japanese manga industry has half a brain they'll try to pair this guy up with a veteran writer and have them go make a better adult battle manga or something ASAP.
Well... MC gets betrayed, but instead of seeking revenge he just wants to go with his life along with his new partner the dragon girl. But the betrayers want him GONE, so troubles comes his way anyways
Basically its another self insert fantasy where the MC was betrayed for the lulz, then gets OP powers and a harem. Its awful...so awful...
but this is a manga so ill read it. xD
