    This chapter is a great showing of how to present overused tropes that is required for your story telling. Makoto's backstory is nothing surprising and is pretty overused in shounen, but its still required to show it to the audience since it is crucial to his character. The author does a great job of keeping it concise (1 chapter from start to finish) and doesn't over rely on dialogue which would be counter-intuitive to Makoto's character. It follows the "show don't tell" rule well and doesn't change anything about Makoto himself, while still showing why he cares about Kingo and Ayari

    Which young adult man doesn't want to have the sox? This fakin MC. Behold the existence of the perfect herbivore. No kidding. I'm damn angry with this author, he really pisses me off. I can only imagine that faqtard making the story with a big troll face. Nonetheless, best manga I have ever read that is painfully eating my very fictional masculinity and pride as man because of this annoying Virgo of a MC. I really want to punch them in the face and make them GSAD, both the MC and the author.
