I like MC's personality, she isn't too girly or childlike, but she seems to be a bit socially awkward from being too antisocial. The strained relationship with her mother is also interesting, it feels somewhat natural.

There is that boring prince love interest that does boring prince love interest things that lowers the good writing score though.
