If you liked his other works but want a little more of slice of life slow progress, this is the series for you.
I finished the series on another site untranslated, so a lot of context I may be missing. Unlike Sundome or Ibitsu, our heroine, Shizuku (the nurse) here doesn't have a tragic end, but it is pretty depressing fate for her nonetheless.
It is an interesting manga, having read the other works from Okada Kazuto, this one has quite a different feel and yet i believe it will end like the others. The teacher-student relationship is fun to watch and i get the feeling it wont turn into anything serious. It makes it look like the teacher ''teaches'' rather than having a relationship. The only other manga with a teacher-student i read is Unbalance x Unbalance, which was mediocre at best so i don't have alot to compare with. SO far (up to ch 38), it is enjoyable, the kid is behaving more or less like a kid.. horny and curios. the teacher knows shes doing wrong and hesitates. I just hope the translation continues.
Hey guys, I'm up to the most recent chapter (raws) at 81 and it looks like Kazuto Okada stopped updating as of November 2020. Does anyone know what the current situation is and when he'll be making more? Thanks!
@smurf123 Knowing this author's previous works it's definitely going somewhere. It may build slowly but everything that happens should be meaningful later on. That's his style. It's not "leading nowhere", the main characters' relationship IS the story and that has to build from nothing. This kind of two person dynamic has been in all the stories from this author I've seen.
That said, for anyone who doesn't enjoy the characters' dynamic dropping it may be a good idea. There really is no "point" if you don't even enjoy that.
Female adult predator in a position of power grooming a male teenager (teacher/schoolnurse versus a student). Its interesting because its rare to see works with this power dynamic, if only it seemed like the author was trying to get to a point. It gets more and more disturbing the longer it continues despite the jarring humor.
Dropped it at chapter 8. Was becoming repetitive and leading nowhere.
this seems pretty interesting
