Damn, these are some shounen gold ._.
Impressively underappreciated.
It has some Afro Samurai vibes in the "revenge" backstory, and in the "gorish" characteristics, but still I perceived it as quite an original story.
I (shamefully) did find the narrator "comedy" funny. I'm sorry.

As an ultraviolent shounen, i'd rate at least 8/10!

This is mind numbing. It feels like it's constantly lore dumping you and things just go by way too fast. Idk it's like the magna's a badly put together summary of something else

Nah, even as ragna is right now I still think he would get rolled by the dragon kings especially the 1st generation ones. Atemesia was said to be very weak compared to the others because she relied on her time magic. Imo I think they would have lost the final battle against the winged bloodline if artemesia actually had her time magic with her. Also ragna has a lot of plot armour, he even got his head cut off by wolekamui but was fine. These new dragons are way stronger for sure.

Sometimes you can anticipate who will win by whoever has the most righteous backstory. Tesla’s story about his brother’s death and trying to follow his footsteps is pretty indicative when comparing to Beezlbub whose backstory was encouragement to continue living. With this in mind, I’m anticipating an Apollo win.
