    This manga is the author going " what if we let the history run its course but instead we have different sentient species", and somehow have to include concept like tribalism, racism, religion, anthropology,... into the mix, and have all these subtext not interacting with the story in meaningful ways. So this manga stood out from others, but in a really forced way, because if you remove the pointless gaff about canibalism between sentient species or the illusion of god, it's just a high school slice of life but with animal girls.
