I thought this was going to be some romanticized omegaverse where FL fell in love with her rapist and we, readers, are supposed to turn a blind eye while fawning on ML.
Instead of following cliché tropes, the mangaka chose to go the realistic way and show how frightening and traumatic rape can be and its effect on our body / mind / psyche.
No romance tag, the mangaka went for a psychological drama and used the omegaverse system in a way not many mangaka dare to use it.
It was definitely an unfortunate and terrible situation and I love how it’s not all black & white. The omegaverse setting is absolutely ingenious and makes for a controversial story. I’ve known only 2 or 3 mangaka using the omegaverse settings in a clever way, first Asada Nemui with Takatora-kun to Omega-tachi and Akabeko with Shounen no Kyoukai
I really enjoyed this manga ! It was such a wild ride with so much angst and emotions.
I’m not giving it a 10 because I feel it needed at least 1 or 2 more chapters to really feel closure.
It's is a dark romance and a realistic one too
What? Yanagi nagi is Maeda Jun??
