    What an absolute garbage heap of an ending, the entirety of chapter 50 was unnecessary, suddenly MC has a past trauma (chapter 49), and just as fast as it was introduced, it was also brushed aside (chapter 51).

    The story could have ended right then and there on the festival if you had hinted to a confession at the end of 47 and finished it off at 48. Which would have been preferable, less rushed, less forced, and would have left much less of a shit aftertaste than what was done from 48 to 51.
