    i fully agree with you, confident MCs are super refreshing in manga (though may be quite the cliche in manhwas) and it is bad writing to just have your generic "humble nice guy" bland insecure tard without a personality, but comparing any isekai to MT is also not fair lol it's the cream of the crop, it's like comparing wagyu steak to grilling your local neighborhood rat in a dumpster
