2) boruto's power still comes with risk in the fact his power ups are constantly used against him. If he wasn't so gifted, momoshiki would never choose him over a vessel compared to naruto or sasuke, and better yet, if he was talentless, he'd never cheat on the exams and have a closer bond with his father since he too was talentless. the power he could now earn being talentless would be his to use alone. but now his power is what makes his whole struggle work in the first place, as kawaki wouldn't want to kill him if he was weak because he could be handled. what good is your power if everyone hates you as a result of and you can't use it to get the stuff you want? his power ups are still very well written in the sense they come with very unique risks towards it, to the point where boruto wishes he was like naruto. as a result, it's still very well written.
I just cannot into it with that male lead, yea?
