This is gunna either be a super slow burn, or we're gunna have a tragic split. Either way, they're not gunna get together until at LEAST graduation. Dude's only in his second year. What's more is that I don't think they've realised their feelings for each other. They're lonely people. Shouhei handling it like a dude does and just trudging stoic through his high school life. His childhood friend is...extreme. Ideally, I hope she finds someone who makes her happy, but I don't think Shouhei will make her happy if he'd be pining over what could have been.
