I like some bullshit logic in my isekai, but at least explain why a bad thing will happen if the bad plot thing happens. Why do human egos deplete the world tree? why does end of magic kill humans? why does mana have to be gathered if it's involved with the world tree and does with weird quest have anything to do with he human's killing the world tree thing? even Gainax gave a slightly more logical conclusion to the idea of what shit will hit the fan if the Lilith and the angel unite by saying if they make contact the world will end and then they later show us. That is the bare minimum understanding I should get at the end of a show.
