The popular claim that Japanese literatures are better and more appreciated than Chinese literatures because of the "political" situation as well as "it resonates more with Western audiences due to their shared modern influences." is always proven false. I always see Japanese media and literature are overrated and uninspired because of their too much reliance on their imperial, incel, and pro-Western culture. And also, both the Japanese and Western media are bastardizing most of the Chinese literature just to make it less Chinese tradition and more on Western brainrot as well as inserting their degenerate ideology like adding LGBTQ+ characters in some of the Chinese literatures.
It's pretty sad that most of the people were misrepresenting China as Japanese or Koreans, even though they were Chinese.
