The plot is basically to return something called Sutra to a location called Nirvana. And the gods oppose the team of protagonists. The lore is just there, barely fantasy 101 stuff. The characters are generic as they can get. An improving youngster, a wise master and an edgy dragon who is evil but will help the other protagonists coz plot.
Our team of protagonists go from one location to another, find some villains with cringe motivations. Fight them, win and continue forward. The fights are ridiculously simplistic and stupid as well. It basically starts with villains boasting about their powers and mocking protagonists. After a bit of struggle, the protagonists win using a new awakened awesome power.
Only saving grace is the art and nice colors. Its as good as Feng Shen Ji is, or even maybe a little better. But theres nothing much going on so far in the 18 chapters I read.
